April 9: Dylan Bundy is still in Florida in rehab mode dealing with mild tightness in his right elbow. I've heard there have been no setbacks, but he has yet to throw any bullpen sessions. The club is just being cautious with a young prospect. He is now pain-free and is on a strengthening program.
April 11: Bundy has been playing catch with no discomfort, cleared to begin a throwing program
April 17: Bundy is not feeling any lingering soreness, but the club is purposely taking it slowly with him."We are being cautious," Graham said. "He is pain-free, and right now he is doing his strengthening.
April 21: Bundy will throw from 75-90 feet on Monday as he begins a progression that should lead him back to the mound. he's been pain-free and symptom-free for a while, according to manager Buck Showalter
Apr 23:Bundy threw off flat ground Monday and his forearm did not feel right, MLB.com reports. Bundy is expected to visit Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion. The top prospect in the organization threw from 90 feet Monday and it didn't go the way he wanted. An MRI showed he has no elbow damage, and the injury has been called "flexor mass tightness."
